- Events will be scheduled in the following order:
Saturday: Singles Open and Mix Open
Sunday: Doubles Open.
Saturday: Matches begins at 8:00 a.m. & Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
Sunday: Matches begins at 9:00 a.m. & Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

All athletes of any skill level are welcome. Although everyone will start off in the same flight, you will have more evenly matched games as you play along. You are guaranteed at least 3 matches per event that you join.Entry Deadline:
September 28th at Midnight. All late entries are subject to a $5 dollar late fee and are not guaranteed a spot in the tournament. Entry Fee:
$25.00 for the first event; $15.00 for the second event; $5 for the third event. Three events maximum.Competition Format:
o USA Badminton: 21 point rally scoring system will be used. Best of 3 games.
o Drop flight system. All entrants start in the open category and will drop into "C" flight if defeated
1st round. If they are defeated in the 2nd round, they will drop into B
flight. If a player is
defeated in C
once again, they will drop into the D
flight category. Each player is guaranteed at least three matches in every event they enter. All events will be held in drop flight unless entry numbers dictate otherwise General Information:

USA Badminton rules shall apply.
o Depending upon number of entrants, events may be combined or canceled. Method of scoring may change.
o All pre-registered participants will recieve a FREE t-shirt as included in their entry. There will be a limited amount
of additional t-shirts available the day of the tournament for sale.
o List partners name(s), spelled correctly, on entry form.
Prizes will be given to all flight winners, the prizes will depend on the number of participants.
o The event will go to two days if number of entries dictates.
o Events will be scheduled in the following order; Singles Open, MX Open, Doubles Open.
Some additional information
o All matches will have an approximate start time. If you are not there 5 minutes after your start time,
you will be defaulted (NO EXCEPTIONS)
o Warm-ups will be limited to max 3 minutes to keep tournament on time schedule
o There will be a banquet dinner Saturday Night after the tournament. All participants are welcome to
come to this at no extra cost. The banquet directions will be provided the day of the tournament. The
time is TBD.
